Q: Which phones are compatible with the Evolution Smart Bag

Most manufacturers offer a compatible device, including Apple and Android platforms. Check to see if your phone accepts wireless charging. If it does, you are all set. If your device does not support wireless charging, you can still use our products by accessing one of the USB ports for wired charging. The wireless connection between the bag and the charging base will work even if your phone is not compatible with wireless charging. 

The designated phone pocket can fit devices up to 9cm (3.5in) wide. However, some bulky cases may be too large to fit properly. For best results, use a thin protective case. We do not recommend the use of PopLocks or similar style phone holders while using the wireless charging feature of the smart bag and any use of metal between the device and smart bag power unit can cause damage to your device, the power unit, and contents inside the bag. 

Q: How long will the power unit last?

We use a proprietary 10000mAh power unit which will fully charge your personal devices up to 4 times before it will need to be recharged. Our bamboo charging stand offers you a designated place to store your Smart Bag while it recharges over night. The large capacity of the power unit also enables regular charging for several days, making our Smart Bags perfect for travel.

Q: What are the measurement of the Signature Smart Bag?

The inner bag measures 24cm (9in) by 18cm (7in) by 8cm (3in). There are a total of 8 pockets inside the inner bag, including the designated phone pocket. There is an additional zippered pocket to store the power unit in. 

The outer shell is 27cm (10.5in) by 18cm (7in) by 10cm (3.75in).

The complete bag with the power unit weighs 1.5lb/0.7kg

Q: What is modular about your bags?

Everything about our Evolution Smart Bags are interchangeable.

The outer shell comes in a variety of colors, inner bags are removable (and washable!), flaps can be easily detached and switched out in seconds, and our straps are also interchangeable and adjustable to provide a wide range of carrying styles.

The power unit is compatible with all current future styles so you will not need to buy a new power unit if you purchase additional sizes. One power unit and once charging base is all you will need for our complete product lineup. 

Q: How do I care for my Evolution Smart Bag?

EVA Shell:
There are many ways to wash the outer shell, you can’t really mess it up unless it gets too hot. Wipe it down with a sanitizing solution, wash it with soap and water, or even put it in the dishwasher (without the heat dry!) for a low maintenance clean.

Inner Bag:
These are machine washable, just remove the internal power unit from the zippered pocket before you drop it in the wash. Machine wash with cold water on a gentle cycle and hang to dry.

Flaps:
Use a sanitizing wipe or soft cloth with a mild detergent and wipe them clean. Most splashes and spills will come right off without much effort, so wipe gently to extend the life of each flap.

Straps:
Wipe gently with a sanitizing wipe or soft cloth to erase spills, dirt, and germs on all eco-leather and chain straps. Fabric and rope straps can be placed in a mesh laundry bag and washed with inner bags.

Q: What are your shipping policies?

All in-stock items will ship within 3-5 business days to the address provided by the customer, exactly as it is entered by the customer when placing or confirming the order. Our system will send out an order update with tracking information when it is on its way (to help ensure this notification does not get routed to a "Spam" folder, please add hello@evolutionsmartbag.com to your contacts).

Evolution Smart Bag is not responsible for lost, stolen or delayed packages for any reason as the carrier is responsible once the package is given to them by Evolution. If your package was not delivered as expected or as recorded in the tracking, reach out to your local post office in order to have them help locate it. We do insure the package contents up to $100 and if an insurance claim needs to be filed, it is the responsibility of the customer to process this.  We highly recommend that you double-check your address upon placing your order as USPS will not honor a claim on a package that was delivered to an address provided that is incorrect. Shipping of Multiple Products:
When placing an order for multiple products, we will send the order only when it can be completed in its entirety. If you would like an in-stock item to send before a pre-order on the same order, we recommend placing the orders separately so they ship as soon as available, this will incur extra shipping charges. If your order has already been placed and you need them shipped separately or to ship multiple orders together, email us at support@evolutionsmartbag.com and we will be happy to assist you.

Pre-Orders:
Due to high demand from customers, we sometimes allow pre-orders of certain styles that we know are going into production at a later time. Your card is charged at the time the pre-order is placed to guarantees your order and place in line among other paying customers. Pre-orders will ship in order of receipt based on availability.

Arrival Estimates:
Each product description states whether it is in stock, or if it’s a back-ordered or a pre-order item. Please note that on items that are not in stock, delivery times are estimates based on manufacturing times. If there's going to be an additional delay, we will reach out to you via email. To ensure you receive such notifications, please be sure not to "opt-out" of receiving email communication from Evolution Smart Bag. 

When items ordered are in stock, we ship within 3-5 business days from the date the order was placed. If placed after 5pm, the following business day is considered the order date.

NOTE: During the coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis, please allow 7-10 days to ship in-stock orders. Additionally, we are seeing massive delays in manufacturing so pre-orders are expected to be delayed by an additional 14-21 days.

Q: What is your Return Policy?

We have a 14-day “love it or return it” guarantee. This means that if you decide that you don't love your Evolution Smart Bag for any reason at all, you are welcome to exchange it for another Evolution product or return it for a full refund. RETURNED PRODUCTS MUST BE IN "'LIKE NEW" AND RESELLABLE CONDITION WITH ORIGINAL PACKAGING TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR A REFUND OR EXCHANGE. Original shipping costs are non-refundable and return shipping to us is the responsibility of the buyer. The 14-day timeline begins on the day your items were delivered. Late refund requests will not be accepted. To process a return, please contact us at support@evolutionsmartbag.com

NOTE: Due to restrictions on workplace operations and a desire to protect our staff, during the coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis, we are temporarily not accepting return packages. For questions, email us at support@evolutionsmartbag.com.

Please note that we do not process the exchange, store credit, or refund until the product(s) has/have been received by us and the condition of the returned product(s) has/have been reviewed and accepted. Therefore, returns can take up to 14 days once received. Evolution Smart Bag is not responsible for lost packages being returned to us, packages returned to us without a return authorization, or for any items returned that are not included in the return authorization. It is highly advisable to return your purchase with tracking and adequate insurance in the case of loss.

If you paid using Afterpay, your refund will be issued by them. As they are a third-party vendor, we are unable to refund directly.  For more information, see their website and help center here.

Customs/duties paid on international orders are also non-refundable.

***If a free shipping code or promotion was used when purchasing, the refund/store credit amount will be less the amount of the actual shipping cost incurred.
